Who am I?

My name is Ishan Chawla and I am a Software Engineer. I’m an undergraduate student at the University of California, Merced majoring in Computer Science and Engineering.

I took a year away from school in 2023 to focus on learning to build scalable software in a hands-on environment. I attended a coding bootcamp and applied my theoretical skills in real applications. Now, I am working as a founding engineer at a stealth startup, developing a mobile app and building the backend infrastructure.

I’m also a fan of the Wii, and reverse engineering Wii games. I’m still learning, but modifying my childhood games to add fun features I dreamed of as a child is immensely rewarding.
